NAME: Sam Winchester "REAL" NAME: Matthew Derringer ROOM NUMBER: M24 ROOMMATE: Peter Petrelli AGE: 25 HAIR COLOUR: Brown EYE COLOUR: Hazel HEIGHT: 6'4" WEIGHT: average (~190 lbs) PRIMARY LANGUAGE: English SECONDARY LANGUAGES: Latin, basic Spanish. TIMELINE: Shortly before 4.01 "Lazarus Rising." OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Sam has a tattoo just above his heart and a scar on his lower back from where he was stabbed. Probably other various scars, too, given his job, but nothing immediately obvious. For those with supernatural senses, Sam also has demon blood in him, so he is not entirely human. STATUS: Bandaged left forearm (zombie bite). Cut on the side of his left hand. Both starting to heal (2 days). Mostly healed cut (only visible if you're looking for it) along the side of his neck that stops just short of his Adam's apple -- as though someone tried to slit his throat, but didn't quite get the chance to finish. Fading black eye + bruising on his cheek, though still visible. Gash that runs diagonal starting from just over his heart to down over his ribs; stitched and bandaged. Not limping anymore, but his left knee's still got some visible remnants of a fading bruise. |

To the average person, Sam often comes off as mild-mannered and polite. He isn't especially talkative, but he knows how to carry on a conversation and he has this vibe of absolute sincerity to help him along when interacting with people—he's pretty good with the empathizing thing. Strangers who speak to him casually might even find him to be an open kind of guy, but unless he's off his game, whatever Sam divulges—be it emotions or information—tends to be carefully and deliberately chosen on his part. Talk to him enough and chances are good you'll hit something he's going to want to dodge. Still, all in all, he's fairly unassuming; there isn't really anything about him in particular that separates him from the crowd, except maybe his height. He's spent most of his life trying to be normal, so he's good at blending in socially. Catch him on an off day or push the right buttons, though, and Sam can start getting a bit irritable or snippy. His sociability level has its limits. But even then, he's more likely to walk away than to get involved with anything. The one surefire way to get on Sam's bad side and beyond, however, is by threatening his older brother, Dean. (Warning: Sam is taken from just before 4.01, so there will be spoilers.) |
